It all happened so fast...-Episode one. Catch Me; A Nick Jonas Story.

Hi, everyone. Lindsey here. This is a new story I'm starting called "Catch Me." (inspired by the wonderful Demi Lovato's song Catch Me off of her new album Here We Go Again, go buy it!) Anyways, I cannot get it to upload onto You Tube and I'm tired of posting fan-fictions on my Jonas Brothers fan site. So, this will be a series only for the people that read my blog. Which isn't many, but please take the time to read it & comment this blog! I'd appreciate it so much. Much love, xoxoxo.

I’m not anything special, just a normal 16 year old girl. My name is Kristen Isley and I’m going to be a junior at North Valley High School in the fall. I had always loved the Jonas Brothers, but never went to a show due to money issues. I knew that I had to go to a World Tour date. So, I had asked my mom expecting the least, but when she said “of course!” I was stunned.

So that was it, I was going to a Jonas Brothers World Tour show. Upper level of course, but I was still getting to go. I was counting down the days one by one until at last, it was the day of the concert. I was so excited. That morning I woke up, with a nervous feeling in my stomach. I had no clue why though, I wasn’t meeting them, wasn’t going to Sound check, and the closest I would get to them was from my upper level seat with my little sister. So, why did I have the uneasy feeling that something strange was going to happen?

I quickly forgot about that feeling as I realized it was 10:30 and I had to leave for the venue at 12:00. I left to go take a shower, as I called to my sister: “Start getting ready! We need to leave in an hour & a half!” I took my shower and walked back to my room. It was 11:15 and I still had on my robe. I just couldn’t find anything to wear. Then I remembered the sundress my mom had bought for me two days ago. I found it still in the bag, with the tags on it, under my bed. I never thought I would wear it. I pulled it out and slipped it over my head. It was white and teal, with stripes, and was halter, having only one sting that tied around my neck. I figured it would do. Better this than my Jonas Brothers shirt, I figured. I didn’t want to be like all the other girls in the venue, with a shirt having their faces plastered on my chest. I slipped on my white rainbows, put on just a little bit of make-up, and ran a comb through my hair, taking just a couple of front pieces and clipping them back with a bobby pin. I did have naturally un-frizzy, wavy hair. I liked it. I grabbed my purse, camera, & iPhone, looked at myself one last time in the mirror, and nodded in approval. I was going to a Jonas Brothers concert & that was really all that mattered.

As soon as I pulled into the parking lot of the venue, the excited-ness kicked in. I couldn’t believe I was actually going to be in the same building the Jonas Brothers were in. I knew my little sister was just as excited as I was due to the fact that the whole way there my silver mustang was blaring Jonas Brothers from the speakers. I unbuckled, got out of the car, & looked up at the building. I quickly grabbed my sister’s hand and headed towards the doors. They had already started letting people in. After waiting in line for about 30 minutes, I got to the front. I showed them our tickets and waited as they checked to make sure they were valid. “Thank you and enjoy yourself!” the man said, handing me back the tickets. I grabbed them (and my sister) and headed to our seats, Section 303, Row Q, Seats 14 & 15. We quickly found them and settled ourselves in. We had about 10 minutes left before the opening acts would start playing. In the mean time, my sister & I started chatting. Before we knew it, Honor Society was out on stage singing their hit single, “See U In The Dark.” That’s when I realized that I hadn’t peed since we left for the venue at 12:00 and it was now 7:00. I decided that it was better to miss the opening acts rather than miss the Jonas Brothers. So, I told my little sister (who was rocking out & doing the Honor Roll) to come with me to the bathroom. She happily agreed. We went out into the venues main areas (which held the food, merchandise, etc.) and looked for a bathroom. We quickly found one. And I went in with my little sister to use it. It was strangely deserted in the main halls of the venue. I took my little sisters hand and guided her up the steps we had just come down. When I got to the top of the stairs, I realized that I didn’t have my iPhone with me anymore. I must have left it in the bathroom. I told my sister to stay where she was and I’d be right back. I started down the first stair, when all of a sudden I lost my balance due to someone running into me from behind. I tumbled down the stairs and came to a painful stop at the bottom. “Sisssssssy!” I could hear my sister yell. And then I heard another male voice that was frantically saying: “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I’m so, so, so, sorry!” while running down the stairs. I looked at my foot and realized that it did not look how it was supposed to. I recognized the way it was sideways and motionless with shooting pains going all through my leg. It was broken, I knew it. Next thing I know, I see the most gorgeous guy I’ve ever seen in my life, standing over me, with a worried look in his eyes. “Your foot looks horrible! Let’s get you to the doctor backstage!” he said. This boy was Nick Jonas. He was the one running, the one who had knocked my down the stairs, & the one who had broken my foot. “Nick Jonas” I said, stunned. “Yes, that’s me.” he said. He then casually picked me up in both arms, told my sister to follow him, & started walking into some unknown hallway. “It’ll be alright,” he said, “it’ll be alright.” I then fell into a deep sleep.

  1. This is a great start. I think the last paragraph is a bit lengthy; you might want to break it up into two. Some very good descriptions and details. Keep going.
